The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

This is the classic screwball romance and possibly the best feel good novel of 2013. The book is based on the character of Don Tillman, who is getting married – he just doesn't know who to yet. So being a scientist, he has designed 'The Wife Project', using a sixteen page questionnaire to find the perfect partner.

However, she most definitely won’t be a barmaid, a smoker, a drinker or someone who is chronically late to arrive. Feisty Rosie Jarman is all those things. She is also beautiful, intelligent and needs his help to find her biological father, which Don, as a Professor of Genetics, just might be able to help her with at the university labs.

A fabulous, fun read that is tough to put down.
